POST 5: Changes to my Study Program

 Hi to everyone. I hope that everyone is fine. This is going to be the last blog hehe. Also, that means that we are finishing the semester and I just want to say that if you are here is for a reason so just keep going and reach your goals. Today we are here to talk about the study program. I think that in a career in dentistry at “Universidad de Chile” there are a lot of things to improve. First of all the curriculum may not be the best because for me it has subjects that don’t have enough relevance or maybe if these subjects have really used their real credits everything was right but isn’t that way. Particularly these subjects are “promoción” and “antropología” whose credits are 2 and 3 respectively and for me in particular these subjects are used more times than belong. Maybe those subjects have some important things to teach us but they have to organize better to don’t affect our time. 

Second I want to say that the infrastructure of the university is not the best because we don’t have enough classrooms for all the generations, also the pre-clinics “ where we do our practice” is not in the best conditions because some workspace is not available or have some defects that affect our learning. And the most importantly our clinics. We don’t have arrived there yet but I have some friends who told me that the clinics have some very important defects like the illumination or the water fluids that affect when they have patients.

Third, the dinner place is so small that at lunchtime the place is chaotic and is not so satisfying that the time you have to rest and eat has to be spent doing an interminable line.

To finish with this I want to say that maybe the university has pretty good things but in general they have a lot to improve considering the cost of the career. I hope that these things can change in the time that we are here.
